I became a practitioner of Chinese Medicine after my own life was greatly impacted by its effects. I had worked in a clinical laboratory for 23 years and knew it was time for a change. After I developed low back pain and had acupuncture treatments, I became impressed with the entire Chinese medical system.
I enjoy this practice because it is holistic in that it treats mind, body, and spirit. In addition, it allows me to give patients the time and attention that they deserve. I believe that these are critical elements in providing excellent health care.
I am thrilled to be practicing in Northeast Minneapolis where I have lived with my family since 1987. My love of people and community is infused in my work. My style is gentle, nurturing, and spirited. I have integrated knowledge and intuition as I work with each person closely to help them move toward optimum health.
I am licensed by the State of Minnesota Medical Board and certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine. I received a Master of Science degree in Oriental Medicine in Roseville, Minnesota. In addition, I have been awarded a Bachelor of Arts degree from Hamline University in St. Paul, Minnesota.
