Nurtured in Northeast

On May 22nd, 2011 Artisan Acupuncture opened its doors for the very first time as a new business in Northeast Minneapolis.? I remember that first Monday, there was a gentleman waiting at Hazel’s Cafe across the street having breakfast and as soon as the door was unlocked, he came over and wanted to book a treatment.? I was stunned and excited because this was not my dad, or my best friend, or even someone I knew.? It was a man from the neighborhood, needing relief from long-term, chronic pain.

There aren’t people waiting in line at the door every day I come in.? However, I feel right on track for this new business in Audubon Park.? This community has shown positive support for an acupuncture clinic on Johnson Street.? I have a good number of “wellness patients” (those who have met their health goals and come in once a month or so for “tune-up”) and hopefully, many more to follow.

This clinic has been a work-in-progress over the course of the past year, and a lot of time and attention has been spent making sure that when you come in for a treatment, you feel safe, comfortable, and well-cared for.? And now, on the eve of the 1st Anniversary, I realize that I feel safe, comfortable, and well-cared for by you!? Funny how that works.

Thank you one and all for making this the best community!? May we dance together in wellness for many years to come.
